AMD Opteron 2431 vs Intel Xeon W3520

The AMD Opteron 2431 is newer than Intel Xeon W3520 @ 2.67GHz however both CPUs have comparable multi-threaded (CPU Mark) and single-thread rating. Also, AMD Opteron 2431 uses substantially less power. All the CPUs in this comparison belong in the Server CPU Class.
